About This Role

This position is crucial in developing a top-notch application that meets our customers' needs as we continue to grow and scale our product.

You will work across the entire technology stack, building a scalable digital protection solution that users adore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain a mobile application using react-native and a server-side built with Typescript on Node.js
  • Collaborate with the product team to deliver high-quality features that solve real user problems
  • Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and architecture discussions
  • Contribute to engineering best practices around code quality, testing, CI/CD, and observability
  • Lead by example in identifying and resolving technical debt, improving performance, and increasing system reliability
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers
  • Co-own the product with a technological perspective.
We're Looking for Individuals Who Have Experience In
  • Familiarity with multiple areas of the tech stack, with the ability to specialise in and go deep in at least one area.
  • 5+ years of programming and software development experience. Proficiency in react-native, Typescript, and Node.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • Experience working in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and utilising tools like Docker, GitHub Actions, or similar for CI/CD
  • Able to take ownership beyond functional requirements— ensuring the right outcomes for the customer are achieved
