Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Event Operations Manager to oversee the planning and execution of our travel packages for major sporting events.

  • This role involves leading event planning and logistics, including transportation, accommodation, tickets, functions, and flights.
  • You will negotiate services with suppliers to meet commercial and service standards.
  • Develop detailed event schedules, run sheets, and staff briefings.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm and deliver services on time.
  • Manage guest logistics, such as arrivals, departures, check-ins, and transfers.
  • Oversee on-site event execution, including functions and activities.
  • Provide exceptional support to VIP guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute events, ensuring seamless logistics and high-quality delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure best value and service.
  • Manage event timelines, schedules, and staff briefings.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm services and delivery.
  • Lead guest logistics, including arrivals, departures, check-ins, and transfers.
  • Deliver exceptional on-site event execution, including functions and activities.
  • Support VIP guests with exceptional service.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Event Operations Manager with a strong background in event planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and possess a high attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in event operations, travel, or sports hospitality.
  • Strong planning and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends/public holidays during events.
  • Experience with international or major sporting events.
  • Knowledge of high-end travel and corporate hospitality standards.
  • Familiarity with booking platforms, CRM, and logistics software.
