Key Leadership Role in Nursing

Beechworth Health Service invites applications for the position of Casual Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Residential Aged Care and Acute.

Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a key leader in nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and guidance to staff, while also contributing to the development of our aged care and acute services.

Requirements:

  • Dynamic and proactive nursing professional with a strong track record in clinical leadership
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Competent with Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) Standards
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated experience in nursing management
  • Proven excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be a leader and support others within a team environment
  • Ability to problem solve and confront issues within appropriate timeframes
  • Advanced Life Support and Triage
  • Experience in shift coordination, delegation and supervision of others
  • Good communication skills and ability to lead a team
