Experience Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled creative producer to lead the design and delivery of innovative programs and events that captivate our audience at the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for championing creativity while ensuring every project runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver compelling program ideas that inspire and engage audiences
  • Lead a team of creative professionals to produce high-quality events and experiences
  • Foster partnerships with festivals, artists, and cultural organisations to enhance the creative landscape
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and contracts to guarantee successful project outcomes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior creative producer or programmer in programming and event delivery
  • Strong understanding of how nature, culture, and science can come together to inspire and educate audiences
  • Established networks across the cultural sector, including festivals, galleries, museums, libraries, and major events
  • Able to collaborate with Traditional Owners and First Peoples creatives to develop authentic and inclusive content
