About this Opportunity

As a skilled Physiotherapist, you will have the rewarding chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians at our Residential Aged Care facility.

You will be responsible for delivering personalized physiotherapy services tailored to each resident's needs, goals, and care plans, in collaboration with nursing and allied health teams. This will involve developing and maintaining comprehensive physiotherapy care plans that reflect assessment findings, treatment goals, and progress, ensuring alignment with best practice and aged care standards.

Key aspects of your role include:

  • Delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that prioritizes the unique needs and goals of each resident;
  • Collaborating with interprofessional teams to develop and implement effective care plans that promote holistic well-being;
  • Leading manual handling programs to ensure staff safety and efficiency;
  • Maintaining physiotherapy equipment to meet regulatory standards and support safe practice.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with AHPRA as a qualified Physiotherapist;
  • A minimum of two years' experience in physiotherapy, preferably in aged care;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams;
