We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Integration Developer to support a large-scale digital transformation program for a Federal Government department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Develop Integration Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop integration solutions that meet business requirements and technical constraints.
  2. API Development: Design, develop, and implement high-quality APIs with a focus on reusability, reliability, scalability, and security.
  3. Integration Management: Manage API versions effectively, ensuring backward compatibility and smooth transitions.
  4. Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for integration components.
  5. Testing and Optimisation: Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and regression testing. Monitor API performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimise for speed and efficiency.
  6. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  7. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation including technical specifications, deployment procedures, API endpoints, authentication methods, and usage examples.
  8. Technical Expertise: Stay up to date with emerging technologies, integration patterns, and best practices to continuously enhance integration processes.

Requirements:

  • NV1 Security Clearance: Mandatory.
  • Microsoft Azure Experience: Strong experience in Microsoft Azure Integration Services (App Services, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus).
  • API Skills: Strong experience in API Design & Development (RESTful APIs, versioning, security).
  • Testing and Optimisation: Strong experience in Testing & Performance Optimisation.
  • Code Review and Documentation: Strong experience in Code Review & Documentation.
  • Communication: Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience: Experience in Federal Government environments is highly desirable.

  • Integration Roles: Titles may include: Integration Developer, API Developer, Azure Developer, or Enterprise Integration Specialist.
  • Enterprise Systems: Experience with large-scale enterprise systems and government digital transformation programs.
