Accounting Role Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage our financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to grow within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and reconciliations
  • Process payments and monitor cash flow to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting to drive business growth
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records to ensure transparency and compliance
  • Support payroll processing and compliance reporting to meet regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to resolve account queries and provide excellent customer service
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or finance role
  • Payroll: End-to-end processing for multiple employees and subcontractors, including allowances, overtime, and terminations
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, or similar) and MS Excel to streamline financial processes
  • Understanding of GST, BAS, and payroll processes to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders
