- Design and execute compliance processes within cost and risk parameters.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring timely delivery of regulatory requirements.
- Establish and manage security operations, emergency services, and arrangements.
- Manage relationships between direct reports, contract services, regulatory authorities, and response agencies.
- Ensure the protection of facilities, assets, and operations through security and emergency management arrangements and technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, consultants, contractors, and senior leadership.
- Experience in effective and efficient risk assessment, security, and emergency preparedness.
- Understanding of legislative compliance requirements, specifically the Emergency Management Act 2013 (Vic) and associated Victorian Critical Infrastructure Model.
- Demonstrated risk analysis, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks, adjust quickly to prioritize, and meet asset and business needs.
- Relevant degree or other qualification in security and emergency management (desirable).
