Career Summary
To ensure aircraft airworthiness, diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs on various mechanical components and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose complex malfunctions in jet and turboprop aircraft by performing disassembly, rework, repair, replacement or adjustment of various aircraft systems.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of engines, mechanical systems, and components to prepare aircraft for flight.
- Check, correct, or replace aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, pressurization system, and optional equipment installations.
- Repair or replace engine components such as fuel control units, fuel injection system, oil and fuel pumps, starter/generators, hydraulic and vacuum pumps.
- Conduct annual and progressive inspections as per aircraft maintenance manuals, modification work on aircraft systems and structures.
- Document clear and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports and in parts identification for issue and return documents.
- Perform preventive maintenance checks, engine test runs, instrument tests and alignment, rigging, synchronizing throttles and setting stops.
- Must hold a B1.1 CASA license.
- Able to operate hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments to perform job duties.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Outstanding customer service abilities required.
- Experience on Business aviation.
- Citation/Hawker/Beechcraft certifications preferred.
