Salary and Benefits:
A competitive base salary ranging from $68,852 – $98,634 per annum for Registered Nurses, with access to salary packaging and full-time, fixed-term 6 month cover position (potential to extend).
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Medical Imaging department, covering a Parental Leave position. Ideally, you will have experience working within a Medical Imaging practice or facility, with exposure to procedures such as CT Coronary Angiogram bookings and procedures, biopsies, core and deep tissue, nuclear medicine services, and more.
Key Accountabilities:
- Perform nursing assessments, cannulation, cardiac stress tests, and BMD scans in accordance with standards set by MMI and MQ Health.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality customer service and best practice interventional imaging procedures.
- Assist Radiographers in setting up procedures, operating equipment, and administering drugs during CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine procedures.
- Inform patients about all aspects of imaging procedures and respond to their questions and concerns.
- Respect patient requests to allow confidantes to be present during procedures and ensure compliance with instructions.
- Comply with established standards for radiation protection and licensing.
- Seek guidance and support from clinicians as required.
