Our Design Team
We are seeking a skilled geotechnical engineer to join our Perth-based design team. As a key member of our team, you will work on a diverse range of projects, from inner-city buildings and infrastructure to remote tailings storage facilities. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical design and experience working in a consultancy setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our technical team to develop and promote design solutions that meet client needs.
- Contribute to detailed designs for projects, including building foundations, temporary works, infrastructure, and tailings storage facilities.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of our work, taking responsibility for technical and non-technical tasks.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and work with our client relations and business development team to target new opportunities.
Requirements
- Motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong desire to learn.
- Team player with excellent analytical skills and prior knowledge of geotechnical design software (e.g., Plaxis, Rocscience Slide, RSPile, Settle3, LimitState Geo).
- Qualified Geotechnical/Civil Engineer with 3+ years of experience working in a geotechnical consulting environment.
- Experience working on tailings storage facilities is preferred but not necessary.
- Proven experience in design delivery of complex projects.
- Exceptional organization and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
- Current Aus driver's license.
- Ability to travel and work in a combination of office-based and field-based environments.
