Electrical Design Lead for Mining and Heavy Industry Projects

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Lead to join our team in delivering complex mining and industrial projects.
Main Responsibilities- Develop E&I schematics, terminations, general arrangements, single lines & communications block diagrams.
- Produce 3D models and detailed engineering drawings from concept through to detailed design, either under direction or as a design lead.
- Provide technical input and design support to project teams.
- Apply and promote safe design practices across all design stages.
- Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Support project delivery by managing timelines, design efficiency, and alignment with client expectations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal design systems and adopting new tools and techniques.
- An Advanced Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in a design, consultancy, or operational environment.
- Proficiency in 3D design tools such as AutoCAD, Advance Steel, Navisworks, or similar.
- Experience in mining and heavy industry (highly regarded).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Leadership experience or the ability and interest to step into a lead role.
