We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at St James Villa. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our valued residents.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, personalised care to our residents, including assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing, supporting with day-to-day tasks, working with clinical staff to ensure care plans are followed, and maintaining documentation.

As part of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing;
  • Supporting with day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities;
  • Working with clinical staff to ensure care plans are followed;
  • Maintaining documentation and contributing to a safe and home-like environment;

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly;
  • Great communication and teamwork skills;
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change;
  • A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent) or a willingness to obtain;
  • Be fully vaccinated for Covid-19;
  • NDIS-willing to take;
