SkyBus has secured a contract to operate airside and landside bus services at Sydney Airport, marking its expansion into NSW.

Our maintenance team plays a critical role in this success – ensuring our fleet runs at peak performance through high-quality servicing and maintenance.

As a Workshop Manager, you will lead a team of skilled mechanics at our Sydney Airport workshop. This hands-on leadership role involves managing day-to-day operations, motivating staff, and championing continuous improvement across all workshop practices.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to company values such as Passion, Integrity, Respect, Authenticity, and Humility.
  • Possess a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification.
  • Hold a minimum Medium Rigid (MR) licence.
  • Proven ability in managing workshop staff and influencing a positive work culture.
  • Strong computer literacy with MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn internal systems.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with a diverse workforce.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills for performing under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to obtain an Australian Security Identification Card (ASIC).
