Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at VERIDAPT. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient supply of parts and finished goods to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management: Proactively engage with suppliers, project managers, and the manufacturing team to ensure timely delivery of parts and finished goods.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the warehouse by ensuring sales order dispatch dates are communicated within our ERP system and the resulting timely dispatch of all customer orders.
  • Logistics Coordination: Perform internal stock transfer fulfillment and control stock across multiple locations to ensure accurate availability.
  • Procurement: Manage the logistics process end-to-end through stock receipting, picking, packing, and dispatching.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Manage the booking and collection of domestic and international shipments using multiple company or customer accounts.
  • Inventory Reporting: Ensure the timely delivery of parts to sub-contractors and field service personnel to support business outcomes.
  • Inventory Analysis: Produce and analyze key inventory reports, conduct cycle counts, and investigate stock discrepancies.
  • Stock Adjustments: Complete the process by performing stock adjustments and adding new products into our ERP system.
  • Procurement Support: Liaise with management to procure products by requesting quotations, negotiating best prices, raising and releasing purchase orders to support operational outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Ideally, you have a Certificate IV or Diploma in logistics/supply chain or 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Inventory Management Experience: Have practical experience with Inventory Management Software or ERP.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Be continuously looking for more efficient and better ways of doing things.
  • Attention to Detail: Be a stickler for accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Multi-Tasking: Be an excited multi-tasker who enjoys wearing multiple hats to get the job done.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Cope well working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
  • Self-Starter: Be a self-starter who is motivated and driven to achieve success.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving: Pragmatic and good at problem-solving.

Physical Requirements
  • Standing and Walking: Standing and walking within the office/warehouse.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling during the handling of inventory and equipment.
  • Picking and Packing: Picking and packing of orders, including the preparation of pallets.
  • Computer Usage: Extended sitting during computer usage.
