Parts Interpreter

We are seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team at Kenway and Clark, a progressive locally-owned farm machinery business.
As a Parts Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers and mechanics have the essential parts they need for repairs and maintenance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Accurately identifying required parts using catalogs, databases, and your technical expertise.
- Sourcing parts from our inventory or through suppliers, ensuring cost-effective and timely solutions.
- Processing orders efficiently, from creating purchase orders to verifying part numbers and quantities.
- Offering technical support to customers and internal staff on part specifications, compatibility, and troubleshooting.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and timely delivery.
- Assisting with inventory management, including stocktaking and keeping our showroom well-stocked and organized.
This full-time role is 38 hours per week, scheduled between 7.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
About YouThe ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver with a strong customer-centric approach to parts delivery. You are a skilled communicator and a collaborative team player, committed to assisting our customers and mechanics find the part that they require.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Experience in parts interpretation or a strong eagerness to learn.
- Exceptional active listening and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A collaborative approach to working with team members.
- A current driver's license is essential, and a forklift license would be an advantage.
