Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Design, implement, and maintain a cohesive, forward-thinking Visual Arts and Design curriculum across Years 7-12.
  • Leadership: Provide expert advice, support to staff, students, and families in collaboration with the Director of Curriculum.
  • Assessment: Maintain high standards in assessment and reporting practices.
  • Resource Allocation: Oversee staffing and resource allocation for the Visual Arts and Design programs.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Manage relationships with external providers and guest presenters.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and implementation, team management, and strategic planning.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
  • Qualifications: Familiarity with VCE Art Making and Exhibiting highly desirable.
