Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Care Manager in Beautiful Northern NSW

Salary: AU$110,000 - AU$130,000 per annum

Located just 20 minutes from Byron Bay and an hour from the Gold Coast, our not-for-profit aged care facility is seeking an experienced Clinical Care Manager to lead our clinical team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring and guiding our Clinical Care Coordinators and Registered Nurses, setting clinical priorities, managing daily staff work plans, and overseeing resident intake processes. This role also involves supporting new clinical staff through a structured 12-week Employee Embedding Program and upholding Aged Care Standards and optimising clinical operations, policies, and best practices.

About the Role:

  • Mentorship and guidance for Clinical Care Coordinators and Registered Nurses
  • Setting clinical priorities, managing daily staff work plans, and overseeing resident intake processes
  • Supporting new clinical staff through a structured 12-week Employee Embedding Program
  • Upholding Aged Care Standards and optimising clinical operations, policies, and best practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Clinical Support: Provide direct supervision, training, and mentorship to clinical staff, fostering a positive, team-oriented environment
  • Quality Improvement: Lead quality initiatives, conduct audits, and maintain high standards in care planning, medication management, wound care, dementia support, and palliative care
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily clinical operations, including restrictive practice compliance, performance reviews, call bell response monitoring, and more
  • Collaboration & Compliance: Engage in interdisciplinary meetings, support AN-ACC submissions, participate in incident management, and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's (or higher) in Nursing with AHPRA Registration (no restrictions)
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10+ years as an RN
    • 3+ years in Aged Care
    • At least 1 year as a CCM or Acting CCM (ACCM)
