We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Receptionist/Administrative Support Officer to provide reception, including initial client assessment and allocation to the appropriate service area or referral to other external services as appropriate and administrative support.

This is a permanent, part-time (19 hours per week) position based in Shepparton, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award Level 2.

About the role:

Responsibilities include:

  • Screening incoming calls and assessing clients' needs to take appropriate actions and manage enquiries effectively
  • Professionally managing visitors in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner
  • Liaising with external service providers as per schedule to ensure currency of external referral information is maintained
  • Assisting with planning and logistics for meetings and events including setting up Board and IT rooms, organising catering, and audio-visual requirements
  • Reviewing data and processing data entry in various systems as required; extracting information from systems and compiling data for managers as required
  • Driving fleet vehicles for servicing requirements and updating vehicle condition reports
Your qualifications and experience:
  • Rlevant business qualification such as certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration
  • A current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check
  • A Victorian Driver Licence
  • Experience in reception/administration responsibilities
  • Intermediate ability with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (preferred)

Estimated annual salary: $40,000-$50,000
