Procurement Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced procurement professional to lead our corporate procurement team.

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that align with organizational objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead and manage a small team of procurement professionals to achieve results.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end procurement, including reviewing and providing constructive advice on procurement plans, approval minutes, contracts, and evaluation reports.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing a team across multiple priorities to achieve results in a high-performance environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage several competing priorities and strategic directions.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of the application of the Commonwealth Government procurement framework, including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and emerging Whole of Australian Government requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
