Digital Threat Hunter

This role is critical to supporting incident response activities and triaging security events to ensure the protection of digital assets.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing security events using industry-leading tools and technologies, conducting incident triage to determine severity and impact, investigating and responding to cyber security incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop incident response plans and strategies.
Additional responsibilities include providing timely updates and reports to management regarding incident response activities and security event trends, developing and maintaining documentation including incident response procedures, playbooks, and post-incident reports, conducting threat hunting activities to proactively identify potential security threats, and staying up to date with the latest cyber security trends, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Experience: Proven experience in cyber security incident support and triaging security events.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of security incident response methodologies and best practices, familiarity with industry-standard tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms, understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure, strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
