Music Regulation Tutor Job Description

The role of the Music Regulation Tutor is to provide personalized music programs tailored to meet the unique learning needs of students. This position focuses on enhancing self-regulation, attention, and emotional intelligence through music-based cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver weekly instrumental tuition sessions to individuals or small groups.
  • Support students in achieving positive outcomes by setting and working towards individual goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of student participation and attendance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of an effective program for Inclusion students.
  • Adhere to professional standards and maintain excellent communication with staff, students, and parents at all times.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in providing tuition across a range of musical instruments to students in Years 7-12.
  • Possess high-level technical and performance skills, along with relevant experience.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Able to design, implement, document, and evaluate a music tuition program.
  • Familiarity with students' diverse learning needs and ability to adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
