Site Engineer, Civil

Civil engineers play a vital role in the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. As a site engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of daily site activities, ensuring they align with the project scope, schedule and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing daily site activities, including supervising construction teams and interpreting drawings and specifications.
  • Providing technical advice and guidance to construction teams, contractors and suppliers.
  • Tracking progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to weekly reporting and cost tracking.
  • Working with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery and quality of works.
  • Promoting and implementing safety, environmental and quality procedures in all on-site activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working on major infrastructure, transmission or civil projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety practices and project documentation.
