Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team at Coles Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technology services to support, develop, and maintain the IAM components of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce compliance with IAM principles, including least privilege access, password management, audit logging, certificate issuance, and revocation.
- Work with management and other personnel to identify security best practices and implement them across the organization.
- Apply a risk-based approach to information security, covering the security aspects of cloud and on-premise IAM services, with a focus on authentication and authorization services.
- Be responsible for IAM security risk reduction activities using engineering and automation principles.
- Manage incident response for IAM security events to ensure service recovery and availability.
- Support privileged account management services, including vaulting, password rotation, checkout procedures, and other security-related tasks.
- Perform security and data/logs analysis to identify potential security threats and implement countermeasures.
- Develop monitoring and reporting on the health, effectiveness, and efficiency of IAM security events.
- Perform analysis on existing user IDs to identify orphaned accounts and implement remediation strategies.
- Practice security hygiene, strong authentication, and authorization, identity lifecycle management, and governance.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field.
- In-depth expertise in applicable IT processes and technologies, including IAM systems and security protocols.
- Ability to lead project design and delivery, manage difficult technical issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Strong self-management skills, including time management, prioritization, and adaptability.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Strong vendor management and vendor collaboration skills.
- Relevant retail business experience and knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Demonstrated awareness of applicable IT change and problem management processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-resolution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and customer relationship skills.
- Application of the Coles Group values and behaviors.
