This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Coles Group. As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in shaping our data strategy and driving business outcomes through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data architecture strategy that aligns with business objectives and supports data-driven decision making.
  • Design and implement large-scale data platforms, including data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based solutions, to support advanced analytics and AI use cases.
  • Lead the development of data management and governance tools, processes, and functions to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data solutions that meet those needs.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior data architects and engineers to ensure successful delivery of data projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data architecture and analytics, and apply that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our data solutions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data architecture and leadership, with a strong track record of delivering large-scale data projects.
  • Deep knowledge of data management and governance tools, processes, and functions, including data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong technical skills, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data engineering.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data architecture and analytics.
