Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to fill this part-time position. This role offers flexible working arrangements, making it ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance while contributing to a high-performing organisation.

The Role:

  • This is a key role in ensuring the company maintains compliance with relevant quality and occupational health and safety standards.
  • You will implement and maintain the company's ISO 9001 quality system, including internal audits & reports, external audit preparation, maintaining quality system registers, and chairing quarterly quality management meetings.
  • You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining the company OHS system, including maintaining records, reviewing company OHS policy and procedures, monitoring employee SWMS & checklists, OHS training, and compliance checks with legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of the company ISO 9001 quality system
  • Implementation of the company OHS system
  • Assistance with safety & policy compliance requests for external tender applications
  • Ongoing maintenance of staff induction registers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quality systems management (ISO 9001)
  • Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) compliance and relevant legislation
  • Effective communication skills (internal team, external clients)
