Strategic Communication Role

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communication Specialist to develop and deliver effective communication plans that enhance our corporate brand.
- This role involves writing media releases, creating communications materials, and engaging with the media to showcase our initiatives.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering internal communications that support organisational objectives and employee engagement.
- Key responsibilities include implementing high-quality communication activities and plans for Council projects that drive results.
For this role, we are looking for an experienced professional with:
- A degree in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
- Minimum three to four years' experience in a similar role, with expertise in strategic communications planning and media engagement.
- Strong writing and copy-editing skills, as well as experience using social media platforms and working with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines, a current driver's licence, and understanding of online communication and website management.
