We are seeking an experienced Materials Supervisor to join our Woodman Point Project team in Western Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively supervising and completing nominated material management tasks within the project, with a key focus on quality and safety, ensuring activities are on schedule and within budget.

Your Responsibilities

">
  1. Coordinate project warehousing, site services activities, materials laydowns, and logistics activity with particular emphasis on managing warehousing and warehouse storage areas, including receipt, inspection, and dispatch of materials & equipment from site.
  2. Maintain materials tracking records within inventory systems for materials & consumables, associated logistics movement, and storage location.
  3. Supervise the site services team, including materials, equipment, and subcontractors (when requested), implement developed work methods, and ensure required quality standards are met safely and within environmental constraints.
  4. Manage the project's material management system.
  5. Create purchase requisitions on the project's procurement system.
  6. Ensure all incidents and injuries are reported and addressed as quickly as possible, facilitate pre-start, toolbox, and JSA meetings, participate, and promote the Safety Management Plan and Environmental Management Plan.
  7. Direct day-to-day communication with other supervisors and leading hands, ensure crew members' timesheets are completed promptly.
  8. Implement pre-start/toolbox meetings and JSA inductions and counsel crew members on behavior/performance.

What You Will Bring to the Team

">
  • Construction White/Blue Card
  • Trade qualification or significant on-the-job experience
  • 5+ years minimum experience in a similar role; or
  • 2+ years site-based experience in a construction/engineering/mining environment
  • Current Australian 'HR' Class Driver's license and PTD
  • Fire Extinguisher Training (highly desirable)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Independent self-driven team player approach, exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and engage internal and external stakeholders
