About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Casual Library Officers. In this role, you will deliver exceptional frontline customer service and contribute to a welcoming environment for visitors.

As a Casual Library Officer, you will be responsible for supporting library programs, assisting with toy libraries, and conducting Tech Help sessions for digital literacy.

You will work across multiple libraries on a 7-day roster, including evenings and weekends, and be required to be flexible and adaptable in your approach.

Requirements
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • A customer-focused mindset with helpful support and advice
  • An interest in supporting library programs, including digital literacy and children's activities
  • Flexibility to work across multiple libraries on a 7-day roster, including evenings and weekends
  • Proficiency in using a variety of IT systems, devices, and software
  • Previous experience or qualifications in the public library sector (employment, volunteering, work placement)
