JOB SUMMARY:

The role involves managing the receipt, issuance, and ordering of components for internal aircraft, as well as facilitating repair orders with external service providers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for receiving and documenting all aircraft components and kits from the designated distribution center.

· Distributes parts and kits to the production area, providing support to technicians with their parts needs.

· Manages external orders from clients and prepares components for dispatch, requiring proficiency in reading parts catalogs and understanding warranty versus exchange scenarios.

· Monitors backorder reports and coordinates with the distribution center to ensure timely fulfillment.

· Assists in conducting regular and special inventory counts and generates purchase orders for necessary supplies for the parts storage area, including packaging and shipping materials.

· Aids in billing clients for repairs, shipping, and related services.

· Oversees all consignment and exchange programs related to the components.

· Performs additional related tasks as necessary.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a general understanding of aircraft components.

· A minimum of two years of experience in aircraft parts management is essential.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Strong communication abilities.

· Capability to read, comprehend, and analyze illustrated parts catalogs.

· Proficiency in interpreting overhaul manuals and aircraft engine documentation.
