Transport Planning Manager

About the Role
Arup is seeking a highly experienced Transport Planning Manager to join our team in South Australia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for expanding our client base, delivering key projects, and supporting the development of our transport planning business in Australasia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams and provide technical direction on projects
- Develop and manage large, complex projects, coordinating people, facilities, and resources within tight timelines and budgetary constraints
- Recruit, appraise, and develop staff, as well as maintain high morale and motivation
- Execute responsibilities as outlined in Arup's Quality Management System
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in transport planning within a consulting or government business environment
- Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Planning or Civil Engineering or similar area
- In-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of transport planning analysis and design
- Proven track record in business development
- Superior understanding of local and interstate markets and relationships within these markets
