Key Data Analytics Role

The position of Data Manager is critical in leading the development of an effective data analytics model to support business operations and services data. The model will provide ongoing visibility and effective measures of operational capabilities and services.

Data modelling and the provision of evidenced-based information will be key in the ongoing forensic modernisation program of work and to support transformational change ensuring a sustainable service.

The role will facilitate the integration of forensic data with other sources to improve intelligence and understanding of the value and impact of forensic services across the state.

Key Responsibilities

  • To undertake an active leadership role working with stakeholders to develop functional and sustainable data models which provide operational statistics and business intelligence data.
  • Develop specialist knowledge and understanding to support problem solving and ensure effective data models and business intelligence outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively and lead with authoritative expertise to achieve positive outcomes across technical aspects supporting delivery of data and analytics requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in developing data models relating to organisational structures, processes and outputs in changing environments.
  • Demonstrated skills in managing and implementing data management techniques and strategies.
  • Proven ability in formulating policies and strategies using data modelling approaches and methodologies.
  • Experience in leading teams and mentoring specialists.
  • A strong commitment to ethical behaviour and organisational values.
