Senior Lawyer Role: Environmental Planning Specialist

Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled lawyer to join our Environment and Planning team in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtaining project approvals and overseeing the preparation of project applications and environmental assessments.
- Matters before the NSW Land and Environment Court in relation to planning appeals, tree disputes, valuation and compensation, judicial review and environmental offences.
- Environmental regulation including incident response, water use management, contaminated land remediation and conservation, and mining regulatory issues.
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years' post-admission legal experience.
- Experience in environment and planning law.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as people skills.
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills.
