Aurizon is seeking a Conductor Education Specialist to join their team in Broken Hill. This is an exciting opportunity for a natural teacher who has an encouraging and calm approach, with the ability to give constructive advice and enjoys seeing employees learn and grow.

Job Description

The role of Conductor Education Specialist involves delivering and maintaining training and assessment plans, required reports, learning documents, logbooks, and check sheets. You will also perform fair assessments of employees to high safety standards whilst utilising a range of upskilling methods to ensure competencies are maintained.

You will be supported by an experienced team and have the opportunity to develop a supportive relationship with train drivers and support the training program objectives.

About You
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Mandatory)
  • Certificate IV in Locomotive Driving or equivalent (Mandatory)
  • NSW Safeworking System qualifications (Preferred)
  • Hold a valid 'C' class driver's license (Mandatory)
  • Hold the relevant accreditation/competence in the content being delivered (Mandatory)
