About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Worker to join our Engineering and Construction team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing sheetmetal projects to meet technical requirements and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret drawings and specifications for projects
  • Supervise and support apprentices to ensure they receive appropriate training
  • Coordinate resources to complete projects within agreed timeframes
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in finished work
  • Ensure housekeeping standards, tools, and equipment are maintained

Requirements

  • Relevant trade qualifications or experience
  • Experience operating manual and CNC press brakes (an advantage)
  • Experience in TIG and MIG welding skills
  • Experience working in a busy hands-on environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, quality, accuracy, and safety
