About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Worker to join our Engineering and Construction team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing sheetmetal projects to meet technical requirements and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications for projects
- Supervise and provide support to apprentices to ensure appropriate training
- Coordinate resources to complete projects within agreed timeframes
- Maintain accuracy and quality of finished work
- Ensure housekeeping standards, tools, and equipment are maintained
Requirements
- Relevant trade qualifications or relevant trade experience
- Experience operating manual and CNC press brakes (an advantage)
- Experience in TIG and MIG welding skills
- Experience working in a busy hands-on environment
- Excellent attention to detail, quality, accuracy, and safety
