Job Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Assistant Manager in our customer-facing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and leading by example in a fast-paced retail environment.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in supervising team members, managing front-end operations, and providing unparalleled commitment to customer service. They will also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate a team, and an understanding of ordering and cost control.

In this role, you will work closely with both staff and management to ensure seamless store operations and achieve business goals. You will also be responsible for accurately rostering staff and maintaining high standards of work health and safety.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading by example and setting a positive tone for the team
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Supervising and mentoring team members to ensure they meet their performance expectations
  • Managing front-end operations, including POS systems and stock levels
  • Working collaboratively with management to achieve business objectives
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Significant experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and other software applications
