Communications Officer

This role is ideal for a creative professional looking to promote university careers and employability activities.

We are seeking an experienced Communications and Marketing person who can design marketing materials and lead social media campaigns that appeal to university students.

The successful candidate will have strong line management skills and be able to manage a pool of student ambassadors.

This position plays a critical role in supporting the achievement of strategic University learning and teaching goals.

The Communications Officer will work closely with the Careers Education Manager, Employer Engagement Manager, and WIL Consultant to develop and implement communication and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication and marketing strategies to promote university careers and employability activities.
  • Design marketing materials and lead social media campaigns to engage with university students.
  • Manage a pool of student ambassadors and provide line management support.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic University learning and teaching goals.
