Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Inspection Room Operator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for inspecting and processing O-rings to meet quality, productivity, efficiency, and customer requirements.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position that requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to effectively troubleshoot inspection machines and automated packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection and Processing: Inspect O-rings and other parts for various defects on the inspection table/belt, perform weigh counting, packaging, and labeling as directed

Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Set-up, program, operate, and troubleshoot inspection machines & automated packaging equipment safely according to company policies

Quality Control: Record start time and completion time of job, follow FIFO protocol for inventory rotation, advise supervisor of shortfalls in quality and temporarily suspend inspection or sorting until issue is addressed

Safety and Security: Maintain proper housekeeping in inspection areas in and around machines during and at the end of the work shift, observe safety and security procedures

Additional Responsibilities: Cross-train and assist in other areas within the QA department as required

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency working in a computer-supported environment with business software
  • Basic math & language skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
