About the Role

Fletcher Building is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our operations and drive sales growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a positive and productive work environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources, inventory, and logistics.
  • Sales and Service: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure their success and career development.
  • Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with local customers, suppliers, and community groups, promoting the business and generating new business opportunities.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, profit and loss statements, and stock management systems to ensure the branch operates within financial targets.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Operational Management: Strong understanding of operational management principles, including inventory control, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Sales and Service: Excellent sales and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Financial Management: Ability to manage budgets, financial reports, and stock management systems.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
