Hotel Receptionist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Lancemore Macedon Ranges.

As a key member of the Front Office, Sales and Banqueting teams, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout their stay.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• 
  
• Providing warm and welcoming check-in and check-out experiences for guests
  
• Assisting with reservations, arrivals, departures, and other guest requests
  
• Maintaining accurate records and data entry using our Property Management System
  
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  
• Answering and processing incoming external and internal calls
  
• Upselling rooms and packages according to availability
  
• Following up on guest requests and complaints
  
• Supporting the operational teams with administrative tasks as required

• Excellent telephone technique and ability to maintain friendly relations with internal and external customers
  
• Good time management and communication skills
  
• Well-developed computer knowledge and strong administrative skills

• Front Office/reservation experience is preferred but not essential
  
• Success in a similar role is preferred but not essential, we are employing on attitude not just experience
  
• An acute eye for detail and exceptional interactive social skills
  
• Ability to work under pressure in a varied, fast-paced environment
  
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude
