Job Role: To oversee and coordinate the operational running of Horizon House accommodation locations.

  • Coordinated operational running and program delivery at residential care settings.
  • Assisted in recruiting caregivers and provided induction to the role and program.
  • Facilitated regular team meetings including case discussions and service coordination.
  • Provided line management of team members including regular supervision, performance development and individual de-briefing as required.
  • Implemented a trauma-informed approach and worked with caregivers in this area.
  • Collaborated with Practice Leads to prepare and assess new referrals for presentation at assessment panels.
  • Managed case files and developed client plans with each program participant.
  • Developed strong networks within local communities and promoted the service.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Youth Work, Social Work or Psychology is essential.
  • Five years' experience working with young people in residential care settings is also mandatory.
  • Current and valid first aid certification, CPR and full un-restricted Driver's Licence are necessary.
