Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as an Exercise Therapist Coordinator. This role requires a passion for empowering wellbeing in older adults, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing exercise programs tailored to enhance residents' mobility, strength, and overall wellness. They will also provide guidance and mentoring to Allied Health Assistants (AHAs), conduct regular audits of AHA-led exercise interventions, and oversee the functionality and optimization of internal exercise spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive resources and training modules for AHAs to effectively implement exercise programs aligned with organizational standards and clinical indicators.
  • Establish and maintain robust systems for monitoring program adherence, success rates, and resident/client outcomes, providing regular reports.
  • Collaborate with site managers to identify needs and implement upgrades or modifications to facilities in alignment with resident requirements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as exercise science, physiotherapy, or occupational therapy.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or experience in aged care would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
