Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure projects, utilizing your expertise in instrumentation and control systems to drive project outcomes.

Your focus will include:

  • Accountability for performance and delivery of engineering services supporting project outcomes within established parameters.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders including the Project Engineering team, Site Supervision, Subcontractors, Clients, and Vendors.
  • Participation in construction and commissioning work on site, including Installation Test Records and punch list close-out.

This role requires:

  • A degree qualification and over 10 years of I&C engineering experience.
  • Site experience in Construction and Commissioning environments.
  • Good knowledge of processing plants and power stations.
  • Extensive knowledge of I&C communications and control systems (PLC and SCADA).
  • Familiarity with automation software (SIMATIC PCS7, TIA Portal, WinCC, TopServer) and industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, DNP3, OPC).
  • Experience integrating IEC61850 communication with electrical relays, circuit breakers, and protection systems.
