Job Title: Institutional Equity Sales Team Assistant
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Assistant to join our Institutional Equity Sales team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team, manage the office, and assist with sales orders and meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Institutional Equity Sales team
- Manage the office, including corporate access, events, roadshows, and marketing support
- Assist with sales orders and meetings, liaising with Melbourne and Sydney Institutional Sales teams
- Provide first point of contact for clients and external parties
- Manage the Melbourne Room calendar, liaising with Sydney team on bookings
- Assist with corporate access, including completion of Melbourne-based marketing campaigns
- Update and maintain data of Melbourne clients in CRM and assist logging interactions where required
- Provide assistance to Sales and Corporate teams on placements where required
- Coordinate catering or venue booking for client lunches and dinners
- Ensure meeting room, kitchen, and general office area are kept immaculate
- Manage all Melbourne deliveries, ensuring office supplies are replenished and mail is distributed
- Manage all Melbourne office IT requests
Requirements:
- Previous stockbroking or similar financial services industry experience preferable
- Previous administrative and assistant experience needed
- Competent in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience with a client relationship management (CRM) system strongly advised
- Ability to manage competing deadlines
