Job Title:

Wall and Floor Tiling Apprentice

We are seeking individuals who are strong, eager, and committed to commencing an apprenticeship in wall and floor tiling. This 4-year apprenticeship offers hands-on experience and formal training towards a Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying and handling tiles, adhesives, and other heavy materials
  • Measuring, marking, and preparing surfaces for tiling
  • Laying tiles with precision, ensuring accuracy in alignment and spacing
  • Cutting and shaping tiles using hand and power tools
  • Mixing and applying grout, sealants, and adhesives
  • Cleaning and maintaining work areas and tools
  • Assisting with demolition, removal of old tiles, and surface preparation

Requirements:

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Great attention to detail and someone who takes pride in their work
  • Ability to remain calm and patient when solving problems
  • Physically strong and fit for daily manual labor
  • Good time management and a strong work ethic
  • Eager to learn and committed to completing the 4-year apprenticeship
