Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing daily operations, achieving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities- Support the Store Manager in managing daily operations, including stock management, merchandising, and customer service.
- Achieve sales growth and meet regular KPI targets for your department.
- Build and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and implement stock integrity initiatives to increase profit margins.
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a high-volume or big-box environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales growth and meeting KPI targets.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in retail software systems.
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain at our expense.
