Technical Program Lead

As a Technical Program Lead at Virtusa, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical programs that meet the needs of our clients. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all work is aligned to the product roadmap and that the team is working effectively to achieve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery Alignment: Ensure that delivery is aligned to the product roadmap and that the team is working towards achieving the desired outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective collaboration across multiple squads and ensure that all work is transparent and well-managed.
  • Escalation and Impediment Removal: Provide an escalation point when necessary to facilitate effective delivery and remove impediments for the team.
  • Quarterly Planning: Build, manage, and execute quarterly plans to ensure that the team is working towards achieving the desired outcomes.
  • Resource Engagement and Procurement: Ensure that all required people are engaged and procured in line with stakeholder expectations and Bupa processes.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Utilize agile and lean delivery metrics to provide insight and feedback on team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Provide ad hoc reporting as required and contribute to artefacts for communication to senior leadership.
  • Governance and Controls: Observe the guardrails of the related Portfolio governance and collaborate with the Head of Portfolio to ensure Portfolio and team alignment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and psychological safety within the product team and across the organisation.
  • Leadership and Management: Apply strong adaptive leadership and management skills to uphold the integrity of the portfolio and directly manage a team of Delivery Managers and business analysts.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of agile and lean delivery methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
