About the Role

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineers to join our team for a major infrastructure project, Inland Rail. As a Civil Engineer with Inland Rail, you will play a critical role in the planning, design, and delivery of this significant project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Delivery: Assist in the planning, design development, and delivery of the Albury to Parkes project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, ensuring that all technical aspects of the project are properly managed and executed.
  • Stakeholder Management: Interface with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and other project team members, to ensure that their needs are met and that the project is delivered successfully.
  • Program Management: Manage programs and budgets, ensuring that the project is delivered within the allocated resources and timeframe.
  • Site Management: Manage the resolution of site-related construction and engineering issues, ensuring that they are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports on the project's progress, highlighting any issues or concerns, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure that they are informed and engaged throughout the project.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in engineering (construction or maintenance preferred).
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications: Eligibility for membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia.
