About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our high-voltage secondary design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing top-tier electrical systems for our extra high-voltage substations and overhead lines.

With a strong background in high-voltage systems and a proven track record of leadership, you will be responsible for directing the creation of electrical designs, protection schemes, and protection relays. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on major HV infrastructure and renewable projects that contribute to creating a sustainable future. You will have the flexibility to work remotely from Western Australia or relocate to any of our CPP offices in NSW/QLD/VIC or SA. Relocation assistance is available for those willing to relocate states.

About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years experience at a senior level with substation design and/or utility grid connections
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor others
  • Strong knowledge of Australian industry standards
  • High-level communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with MiCom, Digsilent, Power Factory, PSSE will be highly regarded
